Blue Moon Rising over Drummond Island

In celebration of the Blue Moon Rising, I stood among others, grateful to be immersed in nature. But what I learned about the impacts of climate change on Drummond Island inspired this piece. While the trees still grow strong, the waves still crash against the rock, the deer population is diminishing and fading into the background of life on the island. Still, I gaze up to the sky as the bright blue moon rises once again.
